Interesting story. I believe they are legal here. And I agree I have been to Asia close to 10 times and it is hard to tell age of women between 15 and 50.

We had one of those "investigative" programmes on TV a wee while ago which took a journalist to Japan. While I like many of the attributes and characteristics of the Japanese life and their attitudes, there are still some things that are very puzzling - like the need to have segregated train carriages for women to avoid them being molested, the "rule" that women working in offices must wear heels and not wear glasses. Bizarre for a modern country. And there still seems to be an unhealthy attitude towards young girls by grown men. The characteristics of that sex doll are deliberate to appeal to the older guy who likes that sort of thing. And that sort of thing is accepted as being "normal".
