Turning them gay

So. the question is have you ever had the encounter where your BF/GF told you that they were not as they seem?
I had a lover, that after a few times together come up after a very enjoyable evening tell me that she actually was looking for women. Or maybe she was Bi. She just preferred women.
At the time that bothered me. I felt I was such a terrible sex partner that she turned gay instead of having me.
Now a' days that would not bother me. But in my younger days that did. Now It's funny. The idea of turning your partner gay. They always were that way in the first place but THEY needed to find out for themselves.
I do love maturity.

But then again...maybe I'm NOT such a great lover either......
