Electoral college blues

There are more Democrats than Repubs, but the Dems cluster on the coasts and big cities, while the rural sparsely populated places have more older white GOP types.

So we need to redistribute the Dems to the hinterlands or get stuck with right wing control of the Presidency and the Senate.

Who is willing to give up lattes for the sake of the country? Move it before we lose it, the it being democracy.

Another idea is that compact when states with 270 electoral votes agree to vote for the popular vote winner for president.

 The irony is too much. West Virginia opposes Obamacare while having rich blue states subsidize their healthcare insurance. The GOP cares about huge deficits when there is a Democrat as President. Now with Trump they borrow trillions with not a whimper about fiscal debt.
