What a great song I have never heard that one before. I only know one MOON song and it's this one..Neon Moon by Brooks and Dunn. I hope you have a great evening my friend. "Neon Moon" When the sun goes down On my side of town That lonesome feeling Comes to my door The whole world turns blue There's a rundown bar Cross the railroad tracks I've got a table for two Way in the back Where I sit alone And think of losing you I spend most every night Beneath the light Of a neon moon If you lose your one and only There's always room here for the lonely To watch your broken dreams Dance in and out of the beams Of a neon moon I think of two young lovers Running wild and free I close my eyes And sometimes see You in the shadows Of this smoke-filled room No telling how many tears I've sat here and cried Or how many lies That I've lied Telling my poor heart She'll come back someday Oh, but I'll be alright As long as there's light From a neon moon If you lose your one and only There's always room here for the lonely To watch your broken dreams Dance in and out of the beams Of a neon moon The jukebox plays on Drink by drink The words of every sad song Seem to say what I think This hurt inside of me Ain't never gonna end Oh, but I'll be alright As long as there's light From a neon moon If you lose your one and only There's always room here for the lonely To watch your broken dreams Dance in and out of the beams Of a neon moon To watch your broken dreams Dance in and out of the beams Of a neon moon To watch your broken dreams Dance in and out of the beams Of a neon moon

I like Fly Me To The Moon - several great versions out there by Diana Krall, Sinatra and Julie London - get that swoony swingy vibe from it. Also loved R.EM.’s “Man on the Moon” for different reasons...

Some weird things happen and are often blamed on the power and mystique of a full moon. Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble is a favourite.

I will offer a more discordant connection, one that is neither musical nor celebratory of the possibilities of love. As happens to many adolescent boys, in my youth I was drawn into the world of science fiction and fantasy. Decades later, having long ago abandoned this genre, one of my most vibrant memories is of a collection of gothic horror short stories by Ray Bradbury (of "Farhenheit 451" fame) entitled "October Country". As a writer, Bradbury was a meticulous craftsman and although his prose was punchy and understated, it resonates with lyrical brilliance. As the title suggests "October Country" focuses on the harvest season....to sometimes bone-chilling effect. Insomuch as *horror stories* can be considered entertainment, I commend this collection and assure readers that they will never look at a Harvest Moon in quite the same way again.

Howling, running around naked on the beach and body surfing where there shouldn't be any waves - if not for the full moon. Oh, and polishing her full moon... let's see, did I miss anything

A full moon definitely brings out the romantic in me. However, the recent weather here brings to mind CCRs "Bad Moon Rising" and we can follow that with "Here Comes the Rain Again" by the Eurythmics! Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

CCC and it will be wild on the coast 19 minutes before noon and 9 minutes before midnight this glorious sunny day I see a bad moon a-rising I see trouble on the way I see earthquakes and lightnin' I see bad times today Don't go 'round tonight It's bound to take your life There's a bad moon on the rise I hear hurricanes a-blowing I know the end is coming soon I fear rivers over flowing I hear the voice of rage and ruin Don't go 'round tonight It's bound to take your life There's a bad moon on the rise I hope you got your things together I hope you are quite prepared to die Look's like we're in for nasty weather One eye is taken for an eye Oh don't go 'round tonight It's bound to take your life There's a bad moon on the rise There's a bad moon on the rise The music got soul (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

Do you have a favorite moon song? Does a full moon make you feel different in any way? =========================================== There are so many songs that are either about the moon, or have a mention of it in them, though I'd have to say "Walking on the Moon" by The Police is in my Top Ten. Yes, we (men and women alike) all feel its affects. Just as the moon has a hold on the ocean tides, and as we are 75% water, it does the same on us too. "Walking on The Moon" ~ by The Police Giant steps are what you take Walking on the moon I hope my legs don't break Walking on the moon We could walk forever Walking on the moon We could live together Walking on, walking on the moon Walking back from your house Walking on the moon Walking back from your house Walking on the moon Feet they hardly touch the ground Walking on the moon My feet don't hardly make no sound Walking on, walking on the moon Some may say I'm wishing my days away No way And if it's the price I pay Some say Tomorrow's another day You stay I may as well play Giant steps are what you take Walking on the moon I hope my legs don't break Walking on the moon We could walk forever Walking on the moon We could be together Walking on, walking on the moon Some may say I'm wishing my days away No way And if it's the price I pay Some say Tomorrow's another day You stay I may as well play Keep it up, keep it up... "Be who you are and say what you feel. Those who matter won't mind, and those who mind won't matter." ~ Dr. Seuss.

Moondance. Love the version from August Rush. (Though, Fly Me To the Moon is pretty fantastic.) "Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax." – Mark Black

Blue Moon by the Marcels... Blue moon You saw me standing alone Without a dream in my heart, Without a love of my own Thoughts from the Garden...

So did you howl under the full moon? It was Friday the 13th too...was almost scary to be both.
