Respect

Why is respect and courtesy a one way street . I treated a person with respect and courtesy ,but received none in return . She said she wanted to be treated with respect so I did and now she won't show the respect to tell what happened that she befriended and won't tell why and won't even talk to . This is the problem nowadays that it is all about yourself. and not anyone else .

Continuing the roadway analogy, I would say it seems at times that respect and courtesy are in the ditch

 Doesn't matter if a woman [online or offline] says she wants to be treated with respect... you don't give her respect until she earns respect from you.

If a woman, online, whom you have never met, told you , "Trust me", ...are you going to just trust her?... No. That would require some time with her in persons...... the same is true of "Giving respect".
