It happens to us all... We think we have found that diamond in the rough... we all want it... and, it seemed like it was there... "so what... you blown a fuse..." and, then some... me too... we all have... but, like in Pharrell Williams' "Happy" song, we will feel wonderful again... Like a " Cloud" song "you can't see what's right in front of you..." or what people claim is there... and, it's ok... take a breath... or as I've posted before... let Freddy Mercury "take your breath away..." songs can make us feel better... it works for me... Like a melonlicious breasted heavenly creature from afar that sees me... I can be mesmerized by her words and/or the soft lyrics of Queen or Delilah or Emelie Sande or some of my sliding top 30... I just have to step back and listen to the music... Let that rock star ... beat those drums... bathe my heart in the sweet nothings of your whispered breath... let find the way to your messages... maybe, they are not in a bottle.. but, they are bottled up and sent my way... because I see... I read... I feel you... the words can change your ... if you let them... if you pen them for my thoughts.... not a mind reader... I can't fix you... I can only hold you and love you... and, tell you that it's going to be alright... we can share a first... it's just a cloud away... ................................................... Good thing I did the painting today cause Monday may be Oh, where have you been, my blue-eyed son? Oh, where have you been, my darling young one? I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains I've walked and I've crawled on six crooked highways I've stepped in the middle of seven sad forests I've been out in front of a dozen dead oceans I've been ten thousand miles in the mouth of a graveyard And it's a hard, and it's a hard, it's a hard, and it's a hard And it's a hard rain's a-gonna fall Oh, what did you see, my blue-eyed son? It has taken me years to appreciate the greatness of musicians like Bob Dylan... when I was younger, I couldn't tolerate the music... As I grew older, I focused on the message... that was true... The same thing happened to me with Janis Joplin and Prince... It took me a long time to admire their talents... I do keep an open mind... thanks for sharing these lyrics with me... I went and listened to it again... Glad you got the painting done... the weather has been so crazy down here in god's country... but, I still will take it to the freezing winter that living further north usually brings... and, this week was full of unwanted challenges, that I met head on... with a positive attitude... and, I choose to be happy... I choose to move forward... and, you know what... I got some new songs out of it... some of my younger peeps are amazed or creeped out at where I come up with my songs...
