I would enjoy having a female reach out first, and I have appreciated when my dates offer to go dutch/split the bill. Not offended at all. I agree with you that a man may be rather weak or insecure if this gesture offended him. Agree that there are so many fakes on this site that a woman who is more forward would be refreshing, Joy.

Nothing wrong with old school values, but I do not mind a lady making the first move....I can be shy and do not like the thought of rejection....or making a fool of myself (which can be easy lol). Stay well!

On this site now days I do not contact first. In most cases I don't even acknowledge most emails sent to me. just delete delete and more delete. Outside from here. in real life opportunity. If I like the guy or find him hot. I make sure to give him my number. That if he says okay to it. I know no shame or fear.

Hi Joy! Home now have a very good weekend with friend. I would like if a lady made the first move nothing wrong with that. She may not get far but it's ok. Just don't like young ladies doing that seem their are up to something if you know what I mean. Hope family is doing better! Butch

Joy, Happy Tasty Tuesday !! I love the subject of this blog. I admit it, I am a girly girl Princess-y type..I wear pink, I blush deeply, loyal and treat others with respect. I have let men know that I am interested and it was nice. I do not think men should have to do all the work, pay equally for a first meeting/date especially if you have to travel to do so. I prefer older men as they are more secure and know exactly how to treat a woman. I like men who know they are men and not afraid to be so. If I saw a man I wanted than I would let him know..If he was not ready or available than I could chose to wait until he was or move on..Where there is 1 there is More..I would never let someone's lack of attention or interest make me doubt myself.. Never be intimidated by others feelings about You and never let yourself down by being pushy or intimidating to others. Never let anyone put a dimmer on your light or force you to dim yourself..If you want something or someone go for it..as My parents used to say "All they can do is tell you NO." and believe Me, that is something ALL of Us can survive..If that is the worst you hear..than you are a very lucky person. Who me ? Chased ? Like she is in the car behind me with those flashy light things on top so when I pull over I am going to get it ? Yikes.. I would be so criminal ! Ya right.. up until they get to the STOP sign. .. and from my stand point it is sooo easy to spot the truly fake women on here. They post on and on about guys only getting a hold of them for sex. They want conversation yadda yadda yadda etc.... So ya strike up a conversation with them and immediately by their response you know you are labeled or judged as I say. Total rejection no matter the fact or humor one presents. They are so judgemental they think they will be crucified by god for defiling my partner just because they have to talk normally to me. I get those responses so judgemental and severe that I just wanna stuff a box of maxi-pads up their butt and duct tape them into a corner until they learn how to cope with civilization or life as most normal people know it. In a reply to me if their first words are negative like "I don't...." or "That's not....". The conversation is turned because I have been judged and I will not stand by carrying out conversations where I need to constantly defend myself over their judgement from the get go.
