What's Wrong With A Little Fun

I was having the conversation the other night with a friend of mine that was somewhat chastising me for the way I live my life.

He is in a steady relationship, and felt that that is what I needed. In his words I have spent too many years bouncing from city to city, bed to bed, woman to woman. It was time that I settled down, and "grew ".

I said that the thought had crossed my mind, but I was still very happy doing what I am doing. Sure it is not perfect, I have been hurt, and I am sure I have hurt some. However, right now this is what fits best for me.

So it made me wonder why he had such a problem with my happiness. Is he jealous? Is he concerned about my well being? Does he just want me fall into the social norms? I'm not sure, but I do wonder what is wrong with a little fun?
