I have acumilated 200 on the banned list, mostly for people that just dont read my profile and interupt me on CAM with their crude of rude remarks.. this is not baseball you dont get three striks.. It is somehing on the site hat I have just gotten used to.. i have noone blocked that ive done. Occasionally i will look and there are several on my blocked list. The site somehow does it on its own, just like there are people on my " viewed " list.....that i ve never hovered over with the mouse. Just a quirk of the site that we all get used to. I dont need technology to ignore folks.....i got skillzzz. lol

I once received a message from a female profile located in Africa somewhere. Or so it said. This was in a time when standard members could read messages. It was one of those standard generic messages about how they've read your profile, how they think you're such a great catch, how they are looking for love but haven't found the right person until now. Well if they HAD read my profile they would have known not to send me a message in the first place. Anyway, it smacked of one of those scams where they leech all your savings out of you over time through various stories about how their uncle had been involved in an accident and they couldn't afford his health care, etc. Aware of the scam, I turned the tables and said my financial situation didn't allow me to help them at this time, but if they were to wire me some funds then I would happily come and visit them. And I was the one to get banned.

No and No. I'm a "one and done", which means that if I send a message and I'm rejected (with or without a response) I cease my pursuit and communication at that point. I never receive any messages, even the bots are not attracted to me  🤷🏽♂️

have banned many, basically because they could not read that i have no interest in men. there are a few scammers there too.

I have probably 500 people banned, almost exclusively dudes who email me even though it clearly states on my profile that I'm straight.

I can't seem to figure out how to ban people, I don't think it works too well on fake profiles anyway. I'm sure if you banned someone it was for a good reason, unless it was some kind of site glitch. I don't think I've ever been banned.

Have only banned a few. And that was for emailing and asking to join in some things that I don’t agree with and/or illegal. Not here for any BS, right? I have been banned from a group though. I posted a pic along with my comment. The pic was requested by one of the group members. The moderator commented that he did not want pics posted because it sent the wrong message and brought the “wrong” type of people to the group. I did it again and he banned me. It was a freaking exhibition group! But not allowed to exhibit! Great topic! Thanks for letting me post. Have a great day! 💋 Staci

Funny, I just checked my banned list and it's huge, too. No idea who most of these people are either. Not worrying about it. There are only 6 users banned from my blog. Interesting timing on the whole blocking / banning thing. I've been playing on POF lately and have been surprised by the number of women who've blocked me, after I've sent them a note. I get it, they're not interested; no plans on messaging them again anyway. I guess it's probably good standard practice though, since I think I'm in the minority with respect to that not repeatedly messaging women who aren't interested in me.

I block/ban folks all the time. My list on the Book of Faces is quite extensive, but that was because I didn't want lots of people to find me. Especially from work.

I’ve been banned from groups and people I have no clue who they are. I’ve been told from other friends any taboo subject will get you banned.
