Quiet evening at home. Finished dinner and thought to myself. Let me pull out the beach chair and just chill, letting my mind wonder and think of nothing.

Okay - so my favorite hobby is photography.
Living at the Jersey shore I find most photos I take are of the beach.
I'm still trying to find what I like taking photos of. It's not people. I take thousands of photos every week of the sand and surf.
Thinking tomorrow I'll just look for objects. Like what I have no idea.

Beautiful Sunday morning here in Atlantic City, NJ
Checking out the weather... seems like it's a mostly sunny week with temps in the eighties.
The ocean is now warm enough to go swimming in without saying yikes it's cold.
Looking forward to having lunch with friends this afternoon at the New Hard Rock Cafe in the new Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Haven't checked out the new Ocean Resort Casino yet. Thinking I'll do that this early evening.

Had a fun morning walking along the beach.
Taking some time to play in the sand.
Checked out Stockton University being built right off the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
Opens this fall. Guess college students will be moving into their dorm rooms mid August.
More fireworks on the beach last night on account of the forth. Hope everyone had a great holiday.

Okay so I live in Atlantic City, NJ.
I moved here back in July 2011.
I always wanted to live at the beach so I'm doing it.
During the summer months the beaches get packed with those working on their tans.
Love getting up early for that everyday morning walk.
Watching those walking their dogs and those cleaning up our beach area.
It's been a busy week here in AC.
Two casinos opening Hard Rock & The Ocean Resort (old Revel)
Sam Hunt concert on the beach a few days ago.
Looking forward to the fireworks tonight.

While most back yards have trees and grass. Not mine...
Living at the Jersey shore. I have nothing but sand, shells and salt water.
Great place to play and go for walks
Summer is by far my favorite season.

Two big casinos open in Atlantic City tomorrow.
Hard Rock has it's grand opening at 11 am. (The old Taj Mahal)
Ocean Resort opens at 3 pm (The old Revel Casino)
Life is good at the Jersey Shore...

This morning I decided to get back into my morning walks along the beach.
It's my home area, Atlantic City that is.
Even though Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is set to have their Grand Opening tomorrow they decided to open today.
Walking the Boardwalk this evening it was nice to hear the band Gary US Bonds. Loved them in the eighties.
I could see it now. It's going to be a great summer 2018 season.

June 28th is the opening date for Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.
with still a lot of work to do. I'm sure they'll get it done.
So looking forward to seeing the changes to that end of the boardwalk.
also on June 28th will be the opening date of Ocean Resort, the old Revel.
It's about to be a great Summer season here in AC...

Going On A Diet

So my whole life I've never had a problem with my weight.
I was always able to eat anything and everything.
Until last summer. I turned 59 last July
11 months ago I started to see myself gaining weight .
Guess you can say my metabolism slowed down.
The beginning of last week I decided to do something about it.
Changed my whole eating habits.
I never ate so much salad in my life
My goal will be to lose weight and have a flat stomach before the end of this summer.
Saying goodbye to Sams Club rotisserie chickens
and my weekly pasta dish
