Introduction:
I am an easy going down to earth type of woman who enjoys the company of those who love to laugh and can find the pleasure in the simple things in life. I rarely drink and do not do drugs. I enjoy meeting new people and having conversations which stimulates the brain, and the imagination, which in turn stimulates the body.
I have a huge range of life’s pleasures, of which, very few consist of sexual acts. So please do not assume I am on this site is to see how many I can have sex with.
Since I have been on this site I have met some very interesting people and some I consider friends away from this site.
I will not accept friends from anyone with whom I have not had intelligent conversations, so do not be offended if I do not accept your friend request.
I can usually be found in the Eastern Canada Chat room. You are welcome to come and chat with me there, I very rarely use IM.
If you are married/attached and only looking for a little side action I am NOT interested!!!
My Ideal Person:
My ideal person is one who can share intelligent conversation and I can enjoy spending time with. You need to have an off the wall sense of humor. You must show respect for others, have common sense, and manners.

My non-sexual Pleasures of Life

• The sound of the surf, the waves hitting the shore has a very calming affect on me
• The sound of laughter, of people enjoying time spent together.
• Writing, I have been writing for many years and had gotten away from it. I have started writing again in the last six months or so and find getting the thoughts in my head in print can be useful when trying to sort things out in my mind.
• The beauty of a sun rise and/or a sunset.
• Music, I enjoy many different kinds of music, although, country and classical are my favorites.
• People. I enjoy watching people and sometimes find great pleasure in going to the mall or park to just sit and watch the people around me.
• Chatting, I have fun talking to people, whether it be in the chat rooms here or in person. As well I talk to people all day long in my line of work. I enjoy the different accents and customs.
• Bonfires, to sit around a bonfire and hear the crackling of the wood as it burns, to watch the flames jump and dance.
• Reading, I like to read a lot. I always have a novel on the go. I enjoy anything to do with law. As well I anything which make me sit back and say "wow, I wonder…." Those words that make me think are the best because they make my mind work. An under active mind is a waste.
• Woodworking, I enjoy the smell of it, the feeling of accomplishment when I have created something beautiful.
• Photography, another past pleasure which I have recently rediscovered. I am learning a new camera, my first non point and shoot.
This really is only a short list, there are truly too many things in life which I find pleasure in to list them all.

And No, what I found has nothing to do with sex.... LOL
I have been shopping for a new car for a few months now... And when I am investing that kind of money, I don't tend to take it lightly. So I shopped and researched. Read reviews, then compared and shopped some more.
By the time I went for a test drive I was able to tell the Salesman more about the vehicle then he ever figured I should know. In many ways it was almost comical. During this process I received more than one shocked look.
So yesterday I picked up a 2019 Nissan Kicks, straight off the showroom floor. Only had 12 km (7.5 miles) on the odometer. This is the first new car I have ever owned.
I am so excited!!! Let the adventures begin!!!
Question for the women: Do you find some men (I don't paint all with the same brush, EVER) are surprised when you know things that are usually an area of male dominance??
Question for the men: Are you surprised when a woman knows about things that are usually an area of male dominance??

Well another year comes to a close and a new year is bright and full of promise ahead.
I want to take this time to thank all those who have shared their thoughts and words with me in 2018. I want to wish all a very happy, healthy and prosperious 2019.
Tomorrow I will think about a few goals I wish to accomplish in 2019. One of which is writing more. Another is to lose some of the weight I have gained this past year due to an injury which has sidelined my ability to exercise as I normally would.
How did you bring in the New Year??

We got our first snow fall that stayed yesterday and last night... it was not the funnest drive home from work. I am not a fan of winter, I dislike snow, I dislike cold, and I really dislike the crazy drivers who don't know how to drive on bare roads.

As I mentioned a few posts ago, I was going to go through the pictures I took this past summer and share a few.
Well it turns out that most of my pictures are of my granddaughter so I won't be sharing them. However, I did find a couple that I took while out after a rain down by the river.

So another year has been rung in. A clean slate so to speak, a fresh start. Last night I brought the New Year in quietly, I watched movies, chatted and did a little writing.
Yesterday a fellow blogger friend asked if I make New Year Resolutions. In a way I do, although, I don't them resolutions. I think about the things I would like to do more of, or do on a more constant basis.
Last year was a super busy year for me. I worked way too much and spent way too little time with family and friends. I moved to a new place, and I still don't have it set up completely the way I want it. It is still a work in progress, and I suspect will be for a bit longer for reasons beyond my control.
So for 2018 I have set a few goals to accomplish and I will try to accomplish them by . I am going to try to treat each day as a clean slate and look for the positives and learn from the negatives.
So today I wish you all a very prosperous and happy 2018. I am hoping 2018 will give me a little more "ME" time, and maybe some to spend that "ME" time with.... lMAO. Oh now I am just being unrealistic...
