There's just something about the energy from meeting someone new and really connecting. Obviously there is the physical aspect, but that only goes so far. When you mentally connect with a like minded person and can express who you really are (a little at a time) it can be truly invigorating. Okay, so maybe there might be a bit of comparison to other relationships and the freshness of the new gives it a boost. And maybe it's more of a thing for women to connect on an intellectual and emotional basis. I'd like to think guys feel it too.
