There are two kinds of people on this site: those looking for anyone and those looking for the right one. Sort of like the Mr. RIght vs Mr. Right Now choice. Obviously, considering the nature of the site, I don't mean "right one" as in the person to fall in love with or some such thing. I mean someone to actually click with, beyond just physical lust and a quick fuck.

Guys don't seem to realize that women can tell when they want anything they can get. Yes, some are more obvious than others in their level of desperation, with copy/paste messages and outright begging. But when a guy obviously hasn't read a profile or simply ignores a woman's listed preferences, that's a sign of settling for anyone. Then there are the messages that let you know a guy just can't be bothered and is hoping for any reply... "Hey", "What's up", etc., etc. And don't get me started on unwanted dick pics... as if those are supposed to make a woman want a guy.

If you're here for hook ups, good for you. But don't expect women to fall all over you just because you said hello. If you're looking for the right one though, be sure to read profiles and send messages with substance.
