Sorry that happened to you... hope all things going well since then
Sorry that happened to you, that is gross and some people should know better to go into a public place smelling like the did. I have learned since Covid and now the Flu season amping up everywhere to do my shopping in the early morning like between 6-7 am. There is fewer people and I can get in and get out!!
I hope you and cowboy have a wonderful weekend..
Hugs

Shopping early is a great idea

YIKES. Though much less severe, your story reminds me of a situation I had with a local lady I met via this site. Older blond, thick like I prefer, and a HUGE squirter. She did bathe regularly, but didn't wear deodorant. Eventually, even the squirting was not enough to keep me coming back (no pun intended).
Oh my, most humans need deodorant. We are not accustomed to the natural human stink.
Hugs!!
Soap and water is available, there is really no excuse in our country unless like cowboy they can't smell. Have a wonderful weekend....Hugs
I would take a whores bath in a sink if necessary. I have when we were without power on ice storm. You are right, we have soap and water.

@PonyGirl1965 When I grew up was all we had was pan and wash cloth and heated water on the stove. Always stayed clean.
Sometimes it pays not to have a strong sense of smell.
That's pretty much what Cowboy said!!! LOL
Hugs!!
There are people out there that don't use deodorant and naturally have bad BO ,I worked with a guy like that it was bad as u say
That would be hard to work with on a daily basis.
Hugs!!
You had me laughing at Cowboy studying the bread like it was a major life choice. And yes, sometimes that level of BO means someoneβs dealing with more than we can see.
Cowboy is not a shopper, LOL. And it really confused him to see so many loaves of bread
Hugs!!
Maybe they keep forgetting the soap aisle? Hmmmm...,I would have pointed it out to them where it is! Lol
I'm not bold enough to comment on their smell
Hugs!!
When I was stationed in WA, our neighbors were heavy smokers. Sadly they didn't do it outside so, their young daughter smelled like an overflowing ashtray. I always felt sorry for that young girl.
Smells get into our skins, just like the little girl. You cannot always escape it.
Hugs!!
