We were gone all day, watching our town's parade and hanging out with friends and family in the rain at sister-in-law's house. Bed early. And then....the people 2 10-acre lots over from us started their fireworks display. WTF - looked like it was right outside our master bathroom window. They went off for at least an hour, starting at 10pm. I couldn't sleep, so I got up and watched.

It sounded like a war zone around here! I must be getting old. I headed for the house and stayed there. My climaxes are much more intense then any fireworks! Lol

The 4th of July fireworks celebrations are often pretty spectacular, and this year they seemed exceptionally so. It is unfortunate that bad weather impacted many events.

I was in bed early that night didn't see any fireworks nor was there any fireworks here. I hope your Monday continues to be a momentous start to your new week..?

My son and I were out working on a little project in the garage earlier in the day when - BOOM!! WAY louder than any normal firework. I'd seen the neighbor boys scrambling away just before that, so we are assuming they'd gathered all their bits and scrapes, put them into one container, and ignited it. It's lucky no one got injured.

Hello Pony Luv, I took a sweetie to one of the casinos for dinner and a firework show. It was a fun time. A chain of casinos were celebrating their 50th anniversary so we went to one of them. Much better than fighting the crowds at the strip, in my opinion. When we made it back to the house the neighbors were still blowing things up... Sigh.

Oh well, enjoy the day luv.
