Was your weekend wonderful?
I have been on a bender having fun. The kids of course love it and have wholeheartedly joined me in my pursuit. They showed up early before dinner, made margaritas and we played several games of pool.
Dinner was out of this world. The men grilled chicken thighs and breasts. I tossed some fresh carrots and fresh potato wedges in the oven to roast. Then we just had to have more fresh green beans with bacon and onion. I know it takes time to prep veggies and it is so worth it!! They are healthy and taste great. No sugar and very little fat. Well, the bacon is fatty but we think it is worth it, LOL. Oh, watermelon or brownies for dessert. One of the boys has a chocolate addiction

I will be taking my 2 grandnieces out to lunch, on Mon, then to a program of native American dancing. I love my library. Meanwhile, their mom will be enjoying homemade maple shortbread cookies for her birthday.
Sounds like you had a great weekend, all I did was get some more things ready to move, like going through hundreds of football cards and got each team together, but I still have hundreds to go though.
I agree fresh green beans are so great with fresh onion and bacon in them, that's how I make mine as well. And who doesn't enjoy a nice fudgy brownie for dessert!!

Well this past weekend , I was able to reconnect with a past playmate whom will be on town for this week for her family. She is setting a side play time for us at her hotel .

Sounds great! My weekend was good! PRCA Rodeo Saturday night, got treated like vips, plus plenty of cowgirl eyecandy.....easy day today...good Mexican dinner tonight!
