Have you been watching the moon fluff out? It is supposed to be full .... wait, let me copy and paste.
The July 2026 full moon is the Buck Moon, peaking on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 10:36 a.m. EDT (14:36 UTC). Because this exact peak happens during the daytime in the Americas and below the horizon in the UK, the best time to view it is during moonrise on the evenings of July 28 and July 29.
The peak happening in the daytime always messes with my head. I link moon and darkness. I know that is not always exact but tell my brain that! LOL
How was your weekend?
I worked too much. Even Sunday.
After church I baked hamburger buns for our dinner. They turned out really nice! This was my first time making buns. Then snapped fresh green beans. Cut bacon for the burgers and the beans. Chopped an onion. Slapped the meat into patties. And of course, I cooked the beans while Cowboy tossed the burgers on the grill. What sounded like a simple meal took me a couple hours of prep. LOL. I would say I must be doing something wrong but dinner tasted fabulous. The end was worth the prep. 
Kind of like sex .... It you put enough effort into foreplay, the climax is thrilling.

My weekend was largely spent following the Tour de France. Now it's all over, I'm bereft!

I had a lovely meal down by the marina with family and friends.
And I tried something different: I took public transit. My car was acting up, and I had no choice. I never take the bus and was shocked when the one I climbed into had full-blown AC. It was fricken cold in there, not that I complained. Who knew? lol...
And with the "express" lane, I got there quicker than I would have by car. Will this be my new mode of transport? Probably not, but it made what I expected to be a real pain — and turned it into a happy and pleasant surprise.😎

It was HOT here the last 2 days...of course....my guy called, he has hay ready for me...so....I sweated it out and got it done! Good feeling to have it all in the barn and got it at a real good price!
It always seems to be so stinkin hot when its time to haul hay. It is wonderful to have it done. You are ready for winter.

Go to you tube and look for Robyn on the farm. They are 30 minute buns I believe.
Sounds like another great meal ya'll had. I love a good burger too, I found that we make them better than most places do. I love green beans too with onion and bacon nothing better when you make them the way you did.
I over did it myself and could barely walk the last couple of days. Going through things can be very hard on the body for sure.

It's just too damn hot! I basically hid in the house yesterday, and plan on doing so again today. Plus side is I'm making progress on getting all those little chores done I've been ignoring while hanging out at the pool. (YUP, it's even too hot to go there!)

Hello Pony Luv, it was a hot day of gardening on Saturday. I trimmed the rosemary bushes around the front yard and a fern bush/tree to get the HOA gestapo off my back. Then Sunday a lovely sweetie and I took a drive around the valley, did some shopping and like yourself, I grilled up some burgers for dinner.
Oh... And my truck's transmission has finally went kaput. I cannot shift her into reverse gear. Sigh.
If your brain relates the moon with darkness, how do you deal with seeing her during the day?

Hello Pony it is amazing on how long some of the prep work takes but i like your analogy about foreplay that is so true take your time and enjoy kissing touching and the climax a great for both hugs
