SUMMERTIME, SUMMERTIME, SUM, SUM, SUMMERTIME!
It's finally here! I got through the musical, took a month to get paid for it, then they took 1/3 out for taxes. WTH. Made it through the last concert, banquet, and yesterday was graduation. I feel relaxed today, drinking coffee instead of rushing out the door. Feels fine.

There are plenty of things to do at home. I haven't bought a single flower yet. Hubby's been fighting with Starlings that are trying to build a nest right above our deck furniture. The brand new pool we installed last summer has a hole (holes?) in the liner. We see a puddle of water on the ground on one side. We're out in BFE, and the winds are ridiculous. Tore down the deck surrounding the pool last year, so there was nothing blocking the wind. The wind took the cover and at least 2 metal stakes and hurled them over the side of the pool, putting holes in the liner. Hubby can't get in there like he used to to patch it, so we need to call someone. Meanwhile, we're shocking the shit out of it, clearing it up, so we can see what's up. It's not really hot enough to swim yet anyways. (No heater)

This old roof needs to be replaced, too. The good thing - we already received our money from the insurance company! Woo hoo! When the job is finished, we will show them the receipt, and they'll send us more money! Works for me.

Looking forward to riding the motorcycle whenever we want. Our rides aren't as long as they used to be, but it still feels amazing to get out there.

No vacations planned, and that's OK. How about you? Exciting summer plans?
