FABULOUS FRIDAY NIGHT!!

The concert Friday night was ROCKIN' to say the least!! We had front row seats, special parking, VIP party with 2 free drinks and appetizers, and then.........Warrant came out for 15 minutes of pictures with fans! We were at the right place and time, and quickly jumped up to take a picture. We missed part of Firehouse because of the party, but that's OK, since they had a different lead singer than we had remembered. Next up was Lita Ford, who, at 67, looked absolutely gorgeous! She sounded pretty good, but when those higher notes came up, you could tell her male backup singer covered those for her. Still amazing!!

Don Dokken was 3rd to play. He did pretty well, but he shuffled here and there across the stage. At one point, I think he went off stage to sit down for a few minutes. Still rockin'! Warrant was the main event, and they started at 10:00pm. I made it!! It was so loud, I could feel the beating in my heart. Whew! Was so glad we had chairs so we could sit down in between bands. LOL!! It wasn't the same without Jani Lane, but Robert Mason did a damn good job. We sang along with every song - it felt like we were back in high school.

Really, the only downer was my friend. LMAO She is on the weight loss shots, so she doesn't eat. Of course, she was pounding drinks, and starting fights with people. I had to apologize to a few guys she offended. Yes, guys. But that's her. One night every year or so is how often we hang out - because she's the only one I can find that loves 80's Glam Metal as much as I do.
