QUIET FRIDAY

This week has zoomed by way too quickly. We got that yardwork done on Tuesday, and got some pool time in. Wednesday we did our errands on the Trike, went out for lunch, and more pool. Yesterday just about killed us. Hubby had oodles of energy, and asked if I was ready to paint the garage door. Sure! We sanded it, primed it (2 coats), and painted it (another 2 coats). It looks so much better.

After that, he went crazy with the power washer. I mean crazy! Once he got started, he couldn't stop - he cleaned the south side of the house, did under the porch roof (it is white again), did the deck rails, and the outside basement steps. When he was done I washed a few windows.

My stepbrother and his wife (next door) are out of town all weekend, so we are watching their place, and going there 4 times a day to let dogs (2 pit bulls) out and play with them. We also get their mail, and water flowers/garden. My favorite scenic change happened yesterday when our farmer cut and combined the wheat. It is gorgeous. They'll probably bale straw today.

Phantom Harley is having a party tomorrow, so we'll be heading that way with the Trike. Should be fun! So, today is our "nothing" day.
