Struggling this week though did try to answer almost all.
I think you'll do very well this time.
You scored 8 points coming second (again).
Below are the correct answers in parentheses after the quotation.
WHO SAID THIS? (one mark per quotation)
“Me want cookie!” (Cookie Monster, a Muppet on the Sesame Street television show created by Jim Henson; Frank Oz and latterly David Rudman provided the voices of the Cookie Monster)
“E= mc²" (Albert Einstein's famous equation for his theory of special relativity; 'E' stands for energy, 'm' for mass and 'c' for the speed of light - that's all I understand about the equation!)
"Rock stars are fascists. Adolf Hitler was one of the first rock stars … Look at some of his films and see how he moved.” (David Bowie in a Playboy interview, September 1976)
“The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.” (Gordon Gekko, played by Michael Douglas, in the 1987 Wall Street film written by Oliver Stone and Stanley Weiser)
“Never make someone a priority when all you are to them is an option.” (Maya Angelou)
“Money, get away. Get a good job with good pay and you’re okay. Money, it’s a gas. Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash. New car, caviar, four star daydream, Think I’ll buy me a football team.” (David Gilmour singing on Pink Floyd's 1973 song, Money; the song was written by Roger Waters)
“I have a peculiar medical condition which is that I don’t sweat or I didn’t sweat at the time and that was … was it … yes, I didn’t sweat at the time because I had suffered what I would describe as an overdose of adrenalin in the Falklands War when I was shot at and I simply ... it was almost impossible for me to sweat." (Prince Andrew (now just Andrew Mountbatten Windsor) on Virginia Giuffre's claims that he was sweating profusely in a club in an interview with Emily Maitlis on BBC's Newsnight, 16 November 2019)
WHO REPUTEDLY SAID THIS? (one mark per quotation)
WHO SAID THIS ABOUT WHOM? (two marks per quotation)
"He has no enemies, but is intensely disliked by his friends." (Oscar Wilde on George Bernard Shaw)
"Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears; I come to bury [name of man], not to praise him." (Marc Antony speaking at Julius Caesar's funeral; it's not known that Marc Antony actually said these words but they are written in William Shakespeare's play, Julius Caesar, written around 1599)
@spunkycumfun
Better than I though, I'll take that!
Great quiz again!!
@lindoboy100 It's quite difficult pitching the quizes because scores vary widely. I don't want to make it too hard so many won't play, and I don't want to make it too easy so many get top marks.
LOVE IT 🥰
Thanks.

I just know three of them. 1. Cookie Monster, 2. Einstein, 8. The Orange Turd, I mean Donald Trump.
I'm glad you see Donald Trump as an orange turd though the thought of an orange turd in my mind is a little disturbing!

Interesting! I actually thought that quote about being open-minded was from Scott Adams, not Groucho. Looks like Scott forgot to give credit where it was due! 😄
Naughty Scott!
I came across this quote from Richard Dawkins, an eminent scientist, and I thought of you: “Science is interesting, and if you don't agree you can fuck off."
I've just done a little bit of research on Groucho Marx's quote on the Quote Investigator website, it seems that neither Groucho Marx nor Scott Adams coined this quote. The earliest use of this phrase, or at least most its words, comes from a 1940 speech by Walter Kotschnig, a German political scientist. But who really knows?
I've found by doing these quizes that most quotes particularly when presented as images are wrongly attributed. I've also found that most quotes attributed to Albert Einstein and Mark Twain, plus a few others, are wrongly attributed to them. But why let the facts get in the way of a good story? The internet!

I'm very impressed with one of your answers though you do know your music. Others so far have struggled with that one.

@spunkycumfun Was "He has no enemies, he was greatly disliked by his friends" something Churchill said?
@mwants269 I'll count that as your answer but I'll reveal the correct answers on Wednesday.
@spunkycumfun I will admit I liked someone elses answer even better: Oscar Wilde. The only other thought was maybe "Mark Twain, aka Samuel Clemens"
Don't change how you count my answer, unless it helps me of course
@mwants269 I'm always liberal how I score. I realise it's far easier to set a quiz than answer a quiz.
