I'm a news-junkie. Throughout the day I'm checking on the news. My main sources of news are newspapers, radio and television. I'll use the internet too, mainly BBC News' and The Guardian's websites.

The news source I most trust is the BBC. Like any news organisation, it occasionally makes mistakes but it's relatively quick to admit and rectify such mistakes. My biggest criticism of the BBC is that sometimes it's too impartial; sometimes it needs to take sides more.
I wouldn't trust social media nor artificial intelligence (AI) for news. And my in-law family has proven to be a very unreliable source of news,

Do you regularly keep up with the news? - It depends on what your definition of "keeping up" is. It doesn't consume my day, but I "check-in" daily - unless I've got something more fun to do!

Other than this site I'm not on social media. But i wouldn't trust that source for news. I like my news from professionals.
@spunkycumfun but many professionals have a presence on social media. Also most news organizations have social media accounts where they post breaking stories. If I happened to be on FB instead of the NYT website at the moment Charlie Kirk got shot, that’s probably where I learned about it.
@smartasswoman I readily accept that. I was talking generally. Or more specifically the times I've been told the 'news' from my in-law family glued to Facebook. I remember being told in all certainty that Mick Jagger had died!
