However, in the united states, we are in crisis

We are coming into the most thoughtful, caring and giving time of the year

We have federal employees who are not being paid

We have children , the elderly and veterans who may be going hungry

It's probably too late to adopt from your local angel tree but please check into that

please buy some extra food , some extra cleaning supplies. Some extra shampoo soap and toothpaste.. And yes diapers and tampons

These are all little things that we take for granted

But when you're choosing whether to put gas in your car or to buy tampons or buy a box of macaroni and cheese

That is when things get tough
